Today I will talk a little about the positive things about Pakistan (My Motherland) that most of us are not aware of. Pakistan, officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country in South Asia. The name Pakistan literally means "land of the pure" in Urdu and Persian. It is the world’s sixth-most populous country with a population exceeding 212.7 million people. In area, it is the 33rd-largest country, spanning 881,913 square kilometres (340,509 square miles). Pakistan has a 1,046-kilometre (650-mile) coastline along the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman in the south and is bordered by India to the east, Afghanistan to the west, Iran to the southwest, and China in the northeast. It is separated narrowly from Tajikistan by Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor in the northwest, and also shares a maritime border with Oman. In 1973, Pakistan adopted a new constitution which stipulated that all laws are to conform to the injunctions of Islam as laid down in the Quran and Sunnah. A federal parliamentary republic state, Pakistan is a federation that comprises four provinces: Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Baluchistan and three territories: Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit–Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

The territory that now constitutes Pakistan was the site of several ancient cultures and intertwined with the history of the broader Indian subcontinent. Unfortunately after Afghan war Pakistan become a land full of terrorism and lawlessness because of certain external factors.  As a result of that all across the globe it is labeled as an un safe country with nothing positive in it. However there are a lot of things about Pakistan that places it above than most of the developed countries of the world.
Let me refresh in your mind all the wonderful and outstanding things; what you may or may not know about Pakistan and feel more proud of Pakistan. These things may are probably not known to many of us all around the world. So lets me highlight these amazing facts about Pakistan.

1. Pakistan is the world’s 25th largest economy.
2. Pakistan is the world’s sixth largest standing force.
3: 1st Islamic State in the World To Attain Nuclear Power.
4: Fourth smartest people in the world. (According to a poll organised by the Institute of European Business Administration, from 125 countries, Pakistanis have been ranked the fourth most intelligent people).
5:  Top national anthem tune of the world. (Pakistan also holds the record of most people singing the anthem, simultaneously).
6: Miraculous, breath-taking beauty as declared as the best tourism place in the world for 2020.
7:  The second largest salt mines. (The Khewra Mines are known to be the oldest and the world’s second largest salt mines).
8: Manufactures More Than 50% Of World’s Hand-Sewed Footballs. (The local factories manufacture 40-60 million footballs per year).
9: The world’s largest ambulance network (Edhi Foundation).
10: Largest Deep-Seaport in the World (Gawdar port is situated on the Arabian sea at the city of Gawadar in Baluchistan).
11: Exceptional infrastructure with largest highway called Grand Trunk Road.
12: In Pakistan we have the world’s largest manmade forest (Changa Manga)
13: Asia’s largest bird sanctuary and the place where time stops abd largest number of birds migrate every year to Pakistan.
14: Youngest Civil Judge In The World. (Muhammad Illyas, also a Pakistani passed the examination which enabled him to become a civil judge in July 1952 and that too at the age of 20 years 9 months only).
15: Pakistan has the World’s Largest Irrigation System.
16: Pakistan has the Highest Paved International Highway (The Karakoram Highway).
17: Pakistan is one of the few Countries with Full Four Seasons. (Ours is a country which blessedly experiences all the four kinds of seasons which are said to exist in the world).
18: Fourth Largest Broadband Internet System Of The World Is In Pakistan.
19: The Highest Railway Station of Asia Is In Pakistan (Kan Mehtarzai, Quetta).
20: First PC Virus Was Created By Two Pakistani Brothers.
21: Pakistan has the World’s 7th largest Pool of Scientists and Engineer Is in Pakistan.
22: Air Commodore MM ALAM (Late) Has a World Record of Shooting down 5 Planes in Less than a Minute, which is something, one of its kinds in the world history.
23: Highest Polo Ground In The World Is In Pakistan

There are many other things beside these important factors mentioned above which make Pakistan one of the best country of the world. Hospitality of its people, it’s delicious food, it’s unique transportation system (Tanga,Chinqchi, All decorated Mini buses etc). Its beaches, it’s mountains, it’s desert and a huge amount of mineral resources with glimpses of Gandahra and Mughal civilizations are few other attractions that can be of interest to a large number of tourist. All we need is to highlight these positive features of Pakistan and make Pakistan’s image more positive & that of a safe tourism friendly country.
